UTEL have produced PCBs for some of the world’s most advanced Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR). These precision instruments require the very best PCB design practices to achieve the outstanding performance required. In a demanding application such as this a stray capacitance of just a picoFarad or less can adversely effect the resolution of the OTDR.
Not all PCB designs will require such high standards and sometimes space saving or production cost are the main design criteria. Here too UTEL have the knowledge gained through experience in the design of PCBs for very high volume products.
We use the latest versions of industry standard software in the design process and are able to provide you with a variety of file formats for the fabrication of your PCBs.
We also have well established, long standing relationships with several fabrication houses both in the UK and Europe (for fast turnaround and/or high performance PCBs) as well as in mainland China (where volume PCB production can be carried out at a fraction of the cost). We are able to liaise with these organisations on your behalf and deliver finished PCBs with your design.
